Is the 21x12 Wellness Challenge a diet or fitness program?
The 21 x 12 Wellness Challenge is a totally new way to approach better health. It is an exciting and effective system that takes into consideration all facets of health – from the foods you eat to the lifestyle you lead. We all know diets do not work in the long run and many gym memberships go unused. The 21x12 Wellness Challenge brings together the fundamental aspects of overall health in one easy to use – easy to succeed program. If your goal is to feel better and live a healthier life, then the 21x12 Wellness Challenge is for you.

Over the course of a year you will have 12 healthy habits on their way to being life-long!

 

I want to lose weight, will I on this program?
While the 21x12 Wellness Challenge is not a weight loss program, many participants enjoy this side benefit as a result of the changes they make.

 

What takes place at the monthly meeting?
At the start of each month, a new habit to improve your health will be introduced at a group meeting led by Rebecca Bilodeau, The Holistic Dietitian. Rebecca discusses the health benefits of adopting the healthy habit of the month. The next morning, the 21-day challenge for that month begins.

 

How is my progress tracked?
The 21 x 12 Wellness Challenge includes high accountability to increase habit forming. Once you sign up, you are given a username and password to login to the member’s area. Each member has a Personal Results page to enter their daily result of the healthy habit challenge. All members’ results are then visible within the Community Results.

How do I stay motivated and what tools are
available so that I stay on track to success?

The education session at the start of each challenge will inform you of the health benefits gained by adopting the healthy habit of the month. Along with posting your results daily, the 21 x 12 Wellness Challenge is about community support. The Community Forum is available for members to share their experiences, give and receive support, exchange recipes, ask questions and more. Members also find motivation to stay on track by seeing how others are doing in the Community Results area. The Holistic Dietitian will also be engaging and supporting you every step of the way in the Community Forum.

 

What can I expect from participating in the
21 x 12 Wellness Challenge?

Everyone gets something different from the challenge, depending where they are in their overall health when they join. But participants may gain:

  • More energy throughout the whole day
  • A better night’s sleep
  • Relief of bloating and distention
  • Improved regularity
  • Clearer thinking
  • Improved immune system function
  • A more positive outlook on life
  • Weight loss

Do I have to start at the first of the year or
can I join any time?

The program has no set beginning or end so you are free to start at any time. New sessions start monthly.
